How Will You Protect My Confidentiality?
Information shared with me in counseling sessions is kept in strictest confidence and not disclosed to others without your written permission. In cases where there is a potential threat of harm to self or others, I am required by law to intervene to minimize the risk of harm.

Can I Use Insurance Coverage to Pay for My Visits?
I am a preferred provider on several insurance plans including Aetna, APS, Blue Cross, Cigna, Companion, ComPsych, Corphealth, EAP Consultants, Employee Resource Systems, First Sun EAP, ProNet, SC State Employees, United Behavioral Health/United Healthcare, and Value Options. Check to see if I am a provider on your plan. What Is an Employee Assistance Program (EAP)?
Some employers provide counseling services as a benefit to employees and members of the employee's household. Typically there is no cost to the employee for a contracted number of counseling sessions. I am a contracted provider for a number of national and regional EAP plans and have more than 18 years experience in the field. In addition, I am a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP). Check with your human resources manager to see if your employer provides this benefit.

If I do not respond within 4 hours or if your situation is critical, call 911, or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.
